    Japan surfs the internet in English or Japanese

    Anybody from Japan or Japan adult market experience, can help with this?

    We were wondering, does the average person LIVING in Japan, surf the internet in Japanese or in English?

    I've seen lots of adult directories in Japanese, but was wondering are the English porn sites more popular with Japan because the models are from USA or does Japan feel safer buying an adult site that is written in Japanese?

                  well, more Japanese know English, then Americans know Japanese.

                  English is the 2nd language to most Japanese, and we were wondering if that spilled over into the internet.

                  Are most Japanese surfing the net in English or Japanese? We would think Japanese language would be the main surfer language, but when it comes to "adult content" I'm wondering if English is the popular choice?

                  Been googling this for info, but very hard to find out such things.

                                          Only reason there is a fairly large percentage of english surfing is they have no choice on a lot of popular sites.

                                                      Japanese is the primary surfing language in Japan. Unless looking for an international audience, the language will be Japanese without a dual language option.

                                                              the vast majority of Japanese don't understand English, and 95% certainly cannot read it. The majority of people will use their phones to navigate in Japanese.

                                                              there is absolutely no chance at all that English is the popular choice even for porn.
