        whom ever owns the affiliate site. also yes when performers are outranked they sometimes do this method.

            Michael is an excellent attorney. These notices are getting too crazy now that certain companies are certified by Google to do auto notices.

              While a class lawsuit against the DMCA takedown companies probably isnt possible, a group of affiliates should really join together to put a stop to this.

              It is getting out of control and it needs to stop. Affiliates are getting squeezed out and it isnt fair.

                  In a perfect world all fake DMCA's will get counterclaims and their strategy (to knock down legit affiliates/sites) would fail.

                    Even if counter-notifications are filed, that requires a time commitment by the affiliate.

                    I was contacted yesterday by a model asking if I could assist with taking down an affiliate's entire website - not just her content - because they thought the affiliate had no right to profit off all the work of all the models on the site.

                    This is becoming a real problem pitting affiliates against models.

                      Yes, some of them send Dmca to almost everything.. probably the do a scan website and send massive dmca's
