Funny you should ask. COLOgroup virtual hosting was a disaster from the word go. Took about a week to get set up. They provided no documentaion on even the most basic account info. After finally getting setup, servers were slow and unrealiable. Turnaround time was 24 hours+ for support, when they responded. Had a friend who had dedicated server with them and who could not get support. They ignored emails and phone mail messages and she left too.

Datahosters account setup within four hours. Email support response usually within an hour. $99 virtual special a great deal.
                    Non cogent, high-quality bandwidth.

Bottom line...highly recommend both datahosters and swiftwill.

It would be my opinion to stay away from cologroup as I had a terrible experience with them in their virtual account.

What the fuck is a "Shared Dedicated" ??? Either it's a Virtual server with multiple users sharing the server, or it's a Dedicated, with only 1 person dedicated to its use!!!.........
I'm not knocking on Phatservers, your reputation is decent, it's just the term Shared dedicated that is stupid.

Thats complete bull shit, there entire network was down about 6 weeks ago for a day, and then before that, they had multiple virtual server downtimes!!! There is no way you have been up 100% for 6 months, ....

From plan A: "320 GIGS of bandwidth (1 Mbps)" Does that mean you are limited to 1mbps or is it burstable?

Oh, and what do you charge for extra unique IP's?

I have to say that I like Cologroup. I don't keep any of my paysites on my cologroup acct, however I do have some free sites on it. Whenever I open a trouble ticket (usually at around 10pm-2am) it's answered within an hour or so. Their support dude even recoded a script that was written poorly for me.
