                                                    My little dot of advice would be to do a shoot with another photographer or two.. just to see how they portray you and how they work the camera and creativity..

                                                    Some photographers work better with certain type people and settings and others can go in a total opposite direction.

                                                    Just a thought..

                                                                        If you hire the photographer, he is working for you, so the rights to any pics he takes are yours. It just has to be laid out as to how things will be in that respect.

                                                                                            Second, for a main page title pic, that one (above) won't work for a few reasons.

                                                                                            Leg cut off (out of the picture)
                                                                                            ripped nylons, doesn't look so hot
                                                                                            picture quality isn't the best



                                                                                            Like the others have said, you want to do a shoot specifically for this picture. If you can't use different photogs, then try using different lighting techniques, different time of day, etc. I do like the scene you have on the site now, it's just the pose you're in could be so much better and... sensual. Just work on it, and ignore the dipshit comments here, because you're always going to get them no matter what you do. Trust me, there is an idiotbus on every thread.

                                                                                                        Erica, the majority of the mouths running in this thread have NO clue how difficult it can be to work with the SO as the photog. ;-) I know how tough it can be to get what YOU want from the SO since they tend to override your wants. lol

                                                                                                        But they do come up with things at times that are great since they can read your moods better than any freelancer. In this case, maybe run thru a few more scenes to see if you can get one 'greatest' shot for the front end.

                                                                                                                I've known Erika for almost 2 years now, and I can tell you, you can think her ugly, her butt stinks what have you, but she is a very succesful female webmaster. She owns a very large farm from which she does all of her site from. I have yet to see anyone on here with a site that is a personal site that is anywhere near the size of Erika's site, or the number of members she has inside of it.

                                                                                                                I have been in her membership site, and ya know its funny, her member bulletin board does a tremendous amount of posts
                                                                                                                ( there were 87 new threads today alone ) from members, mostly for image requests.


                                                                                                                Now for Erika,

                                                                                                                Long Time no see, I know you know who this is, keep it up, your gonna get there. Ignore half of the people on this board as most are kids sitting at home alone in their basement on their parents computer doing free sites on free hosts trying to make more then $10 a day in click through sponsors.


                                                                                                                In fact out of almost everyone here, I have only ever seen 3 personally owned site. And I have been here since day 1, so untill your doing what Erika's doing, dont say shit.

                                                                                                                                                                                    Erica, the reason I (this is my opinion, tho, and we all know what they say about opinions) think the phone sex pic wouldn't work for front page/on a tour, aside from the reasons others gave (crops off body parts, etc) is that you need to be interacting with the viewer through the camera.

                                                                                                                                                                                    The surfer of an amateur site is buying the illusion that he's got some kind of closer relationship to the girl than he could have to a regular porn model -- play into that and look at the camera as you would a lover. Make some warmth and friendliness shine out of your eyes, and try to make sure that most of the pics you put on the guest portion feature you looking straight at the camera lens.

                                                                                                                                                                                    I got that advice from another amateur girl, and since I started following it, my pics have come out better and better every time.

                                                                                                                                                                                    As for shooting pics especially for the site design, that's not a bad idea at all. Every time I shoot a set, I make sure that some of the pics are of me against a neutral background, head to toe, in good lighting and looking directly at the viewer.
