Yes, my dog sleeps with me, he's a 4 month old Pit Bull, I try to make him go to bed with me, but he just jumps up on his chair and goes to sleep, then I wake up in the middle of the night to him laying between my legs, and I move him up by me on the other side, and he stays there with my arm around him until I get up in the morning.Comment

YES my big dog sleeps on my bed w me, when I was a little kid I always wanted a dog to sleep on my feet and my parent never got me one but now I have exactly what I wanted
He sleeps on top of the covers and I sleep underneath them.. sometimes he snores or has nightmares and I have to wake him up it's sooo fn cute!
And it's funny since I've had my back injury sometimes I sleep 10-12 hours, I really have no reason to get up and the muscle relaxers make me sleep like a rock, and he will sleep the entire time I do!

My dogs are like children to me. They can sleep wherever they like, and that is often in the bed with us.
My wife and I upgraded from a Queen to a King just because of our beautiful babies.

My 110 pound labradoodle/irish wolfhound mix sleeps with us every night. It's hilarious! He's good most of the time though!
Nothing like getting a paw in the face.
He's my bro and will always be. We do a lot together like go for coffee runs, go to the park, take shits, etc. What a bro!Comment

Yeah my pug sleeps with me every night in the bed. My ex spoiled him and had him in the bed every night, so when we spilt up and I got pug custody somehow he was already in the habit. Between my snoring and his snoring most women that spend the night end up bailing at some point...Comment

I have 5 great danes... so no, they do not sleep anywhere near me LOL. Not that they are just giant and would take up all the bed, but they snore so damn loud I would never get sleep.

no. once when the big one was a puppy we did, but it is a bad habit and hard to break them of.
he used to sleep in a bed in our room but they make too much noise at night grooming themselves, its gross and annoying.
plus I can't stand them waiting for my every toss and turn to wake up, let me sleep dammit.
they sleep in the living room right now, about to be trained to sleep in the other part of the house when the baby comes. I have to get one of those sonic bark things to keep them in line, they are spoiled and will bark for us when they do not get their way.
I don't feel bad, they have nice cozy beds and blankets. They'd just prefer to sleep all in between us and shit. stinky dogs.

Nah I would never let my dog sleep outside ever..
One time tho I did come home very very drunk and let him out the back for a piss.. somewhere while he was doing his business I blanked out... next I know I wake up in bed with my girlfriend yelling at me coz I left the dog outside "all night"
I told her to calm the hell down, since I got home at 7am and this was now 10am he had only been out there for 3 hours and it was summer and a nice day so he would be fine.
Thats the one and only time I've left him outside.Comment

my dogs start off on the floor and stealthily make it onto the bed after we're asleep.
the combined weight of my dogs is 19lbs.. the 12 1/2 pounder sleeps at the foot of the bed and the 7 1/2 pounder always manages to sleep with his head on my pillow.. I usually wake up with him breathing in my face :PI died.Comment

I have a policy with my girlfriend that when my dog watches, we do it doggy style. I don't want him getting all confused.
I have one great dane, sleeps on the bed and doesn't take up that much room. Curls up in a ball on the bottom. Only if he is being a jerk he will stretch out and try to push me off the bed, haha. Never snores, rarely has nightmares, but always wakes up at the crack of dawn to take a piss.Comment

My dogs get maybe a month max inside while they're tiny puppies.. mostly in the laundry or other easily cleaned place then they're outside and never cross the threshold again. I hear monthly stories from my friends about cleaning up vomit, shit and piss, whole rooms that have been shredded, vet visits after eating pills left out on table tops etc or less seriously stuff about dogs humping your pillow and filling it with dog jizz and just shake my head. Then again I've always had a yard and staffordshire bull terriers... I love dogs, I just choose outdoor animals and let them have their domain while I have mine.Comment

I couldn't put my dogs outside..partially because they are small dogs who just wouldn't do well outside. They aren't working dogs, they are house pets. I guess part of the price of having the joy that comes with dogs is cleaning up the mess they can make. Sort of like if you want a kid you have to change diapers.Comment

my doggie weighs 15 lbs and she sleeps in bed with her head on the pillow and covers on her body like a human. after reading this thread i had second thoughts about this (i have had her for 7 months now) but don't think i could break her of it now. she is part chihuahua and it's hard to say no to that sad, pathetic look she has perfected.Julie Larson
