Honestly, the video is ok...well shot and produced, but just kind of a lame boring idea IMO. The worst thing though is the fucking song...good god, one of the worst #1 songs in recent memory besides Hollaback Girl and definitely not one of her better songs. My mother gets free tix to AI concerts every year, and at this year's one I got subjected to Lil Rounds singing that song. She sung it about as well as Beyonce but I couldn't wait for the fucking thing to end.
What I'm surprised about is why in this day and age when an entity that barely shows music videos anymore giving out video awards causes any drama whatsoever. I bet 95% of people talking about this incident weren't watching the VMAs to begin with - no one would give a shit except for this type of controversial crap happening. Lord knows Beyonce wouldn't have felt anything whether receiving an award or not, and at least someone young like Taylor could have gotten some kind of joy from getting an award...only a self-righteous cock like Kanye would fail to see that.Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads? I blame the producers of the awards show for allowing him to attend in the first place - given his neverending bullshit and lack of class. He's nothing more than a talentless, two-bit attention whore that isn't fit to shine Taylor's shoes.
I don't know much about Beyonce, but watched the clip of her inviting Swift back onstage to finish her speech. That was pure class.
I stopped watching most music award shows long ago after tiring of seeing so many talentless rap idiots parading around like they own the world. Yeah...you come from the street, you're raging against the system, you're a rebel - I get it. But develop some class - there's a time and a place for everything.
