She was absolutely awesome. Ahead of her time, fought for her own variety show when the network pressed her to do a sitcom. In our house when I was a kid, at least 4 or 5 of us would watch it every week without fail.

I loved that show when I was a kid. It was great when they'd start fucking with each other, and they would have to struggle to stay in character and not lose it.
