How much do u spend on drinks when you go out?

I realized that I spend way too much on alcohol here in Toronto.

Sure I have one more year to legally be 19 and be able to buy but whatever...

Each time I go out I leave a good 60-80 bucks at the bar!

WTF? Am I becoming an alcoholic or is this normal?

I spend less than you, but I know people that spend ten fold of what you spend or even more. Fuck I've seen people buying so much that they got their own VIP section in the club. It all depends how much each drink you buy costs You could get fucking drunk off 60-80 bucks but you could also stay fairly sober and still spend over a thousand

I drink before I go out, and leave to go to club with a designated driver. I usually hit some at the club when someone buys me more drinks. Less expensive and I get filthy drunk before I enter the club.

Where I live it's easy to find pitchers around $5... Even if I'm buying other people drinks I don't think I've ever spent much more than $50

LA was the worst for drinks -- I remember one night buying $8 bottles of Heineken... pretty lame.

NY is a little more realistic -- I think because there's more competition. In LA the shit is so spread out -- you're lucky to find a cool bar -- and if you don't like that bar -- plan on driving an hour through traffic to get to the next one! LOL... They got you by the balls. Drinking in Long Beach is fun tho ;)

Before I got pregnant when me and my man would go out, we'd spend $600 a weekend! That didn't include the $60 cab ride home each night At least now we can save a bit of money when we go out now he only spends about $60 and thats paying $4 for a pepsi for me !

the place i go about 3 times a week is only ? 0.85 (~ $ 0.80) a beer... and everybody is drinking on a collective bill... so the harder you drink the cheaper it gets . so plus the 25-pack of sigarettes at $ 3.50 every night adds up to about $15 per night...
and the girls?? hehe for every guy there's always about 2 girls in there... 18-25 yrs and NO hoes! gotta love that place!

I used to just run a tab at my Dad's Bar in Boca Raton,,, One night it was 75 dollars,,,,,I dont remember much the next day,, Just that I puked all over the car

I dont drink in public to much anymore,,,,,its too expensive for a damn pina colada,,,,, I dont want any dui's so we party at home for the most part

Shit,

Went out last night with a friend to this girls b-day party. The party was at a Bar and was nothing special. So we left and ended up on the subway ( dont remember why :D ) So we went to the core of Toronto and just chilled and decided to go for dinner (at 12:00 MIDNIGHT :D ) So we had dinner and than a couple of beers and shots... and bam I wake up today morning and my $50, and $20 are gone!

Fuck! But who cares at least a story came out in the end.

A cab ride to the strip in traffic can easily run $30 off the top just to get there. And I probably have thousands of $$$'s worth of bar tab receipts. A couple years back it was easily $300 of booze in a weeks time in the bars. Probably more. We used to scrape our friends off the sidewalks outside.

But if you find a really cool spot in LA and hang out there often, usually the bartenders get smart and forget to tally all your drinks on the tab, so you can make it up to them with a nice tip. The best spots have the best tunes on the box.
