Reddit Monetiztion Methods

So many posts on here regarding reddit, and subreddits, etc - and being a subreddit operator myself, and being that I have only been on reddit for a few years now, always open to new education and idea sharing.

Current methods that Im using are pretty simplistic.

1)Pinned posts, and comments directing traffic to my programs.
2)Top menu links, side bar images/links again leading to my own progams
3)Selling posts/comments/menu/sidebar sending traffic to other peoples programs

Is there anything out there that Im missing? Other good options for making money?

I had seen this on another forum, will only show image out of resepct for GFY:

Has anyone worked with either of those companies to earn on reddit? Would of course be willing to sign up thru your affiliate link if you have had sucessfull information you can share.

Looking forward to some new ideas and thoughts.

Did you try Twitter? I get some decent traffic when I tag a porn star and they retweet it.

I have been building up Reddit for years and get consistent click through to my sites. I get around 100 unique clicks daily.

I use Reddit for SEO as well because Google and Bing instantly index post.

Do you use Redgif.com? I get a lot of views but barely any click throughs.

that's interesting.

i only get on reddit as a viewer, never post or comment. if i wanted to push a new mainstream project (edu), i think my post count would be too low and i'd be ignored. the Indian fiverrs just spam the shit out of everything. no finesse.

should i pay somebody or just start getting active?

I use Reddit as well but have a harder time getting clicks. Most redditors have an allergic reaction to outside websites because they have ads, except for YouTube and Tube sites - which have lots of ads lol.

I mainly use it for backlinks and indexing new pages but would love more traffic from my subs.

I had the issue of like, most NSFW subreddits don't allow you to post without a min amount of karma?

Ive so far only promoted my own content & guest models ive worked with!

I have not used Reddit for SEO at all. All 22 of my subreddits are all NSFW - and they are mostly just images/gifs with porn related titles.

As far as generating traffic, that has never been an issue. Its just getting the traffic to the right location. I have over 2.4 million subscribers in my subreddits, some aged subreddits, some new. And alone, some of my subreddits with 100k subscribers can generate 500-1000 hits a day just from pinned posts/comments.

I send all of my traffic (except for when a post is sold to someone else) to my webcam white labels. And its reasonable successful. Lots of signups, a few new spenders each month. Its going reasonably well.

But when I saw that image that was postsed on a sale forum for an 80k subreddit generating that kind of income from an ad platform - I figured someone must know more than me.

Honestly - I HAD this SAME problem.

So I created a custom redirect site, on WP, that allowed me to have a great main image on each page, and then redirect to my sites. Its been working amazing.

This is the past 7 days of a subreddit with 110k members:

Im just trying to find other options for this traffic. Something maybe a little more lucrative than waiting for signups, then waiting for them to spend.

Thanks. Those are good numbers.

So you direct the traffic to a domain you own that runs wordpress or a blog you created on wordpress.org (yourdomain.wordpress.com) ?

Either way the reddit subscriber sees that the image is not on imgur. So how do you get them to click on a wordpress link?

Yeah I got that. But don't the reddit surfers also see that pinned posts and comment links point to other domains (even the WP redirect he set-up) and not imgur and simply don't click them?

Honestly I think its the image. I find an image that would be a top quality post and use that. Seems the click bait over rides the fact that its not imgur or redgifs.

And the fact that my subreddits are vry well moderated, there is no other spam at all.

Its def been working great as you can see by the numbers.

Thanks, we are already on it.

As for conversion, the traffic converts about the same as from other social media, like Twitter, etc. Much better than from tubes.

Working with a new program on a few of my subreddits to see if I can find a way to increase earnings. Will post some stats as soon as I have something concrete.

I just send to my blogs where the surfers can see more content and hopefully they will bookmark it and come back every so often. The surfers at Reddit hate any outside links so much because they have ads (except Youtube, news sites and tubes - which have tons of ads) so I'm still trying to see what I can set up that's like your WP solution but in my domains.

For promotion methods you missed link in the welcome message. Other than that you covered most of the ways for promoting on Reddit. But lately they ban subreddits even with link in the pinned post.

Promoting OF models is one of the best ways to earn, i see ppl who have OF agencies bank hard and Reddit is one of their main traffic source. Also can be good way to build brand/audience for your new tube site.

I wonder how he got that result, if you don't mind pm me the original post/thread

Last three months Los Pollos turned into shit but don't hope for much better results with Adverten/Imonetiz. CPA smartlink is maybe the worst way to monetarize, but better something rather than nothing i guess.

btw how did you grow your own subreddits, by cross-posting or just posting quality content? If you have a decent result with revshare better stick with that as i said cpa can be the worst way to monetarize.

It was 4yrs ago, some subreddits allowed me to use links in the comment secton... Also, from these big reddit pages, i created my own..

Im waiting on Crak to approve me for some better programs.. their general smart link is not what Im looking for.

Trying Adverten now... just sending a few hits as you can see below. I have between 5k on a bad day and 10k... but dont want to change everything till I see the opportunities.

Im stuck with a dating smartlink. I think cams would be better. Getting conversions - but the rate SUCKS.

$28 for 28 conversions in 17 days?? $1.65 a day? LOL. Even if I sent all my traffic - what am I going to make, $20-$30 a day? Feel like those conversions should be worth $3-$4 each. That might be a different story.

In touch with AdSpyglass as well to see what they have to offer.

Has to be something better out there for traffic that does convert.

Hits on Los Pollos, but i've send small number of traffic. The ratio was from a naturally grow subreddit (without crossposting).

Well Crossposting shouldnt effect how your stats are for monetization. That would be the qaulity of your content. Ive done a lot of XC, but every XC is completely on topic, with HQ content.

I could understand if someone is using bots or spam to grow a subreddit. If you put spam and bots in, you get spam and bots out.

Is there any chance youd share your Los Pollose statistics screenshot? Because what you are saying is so contrary to what I have been told and shown.

Or anyone that has some Los Pollos stats. Because I was under the impression they are only based on conversions also.
