Wow. I guess that thread where everyone was babbling about how great the new Alexis Texas site was for page after page was a total waste of our lives.
Fuck, I had no idea they were shutting it down.
I do know that I wasn't impressed with yet more solo girl sites with static ass tours that the surfer can look at once and never come back. That's why I didn't bother to sign up for the program.
But man, they were sure pushing like it was gonna be a big deal. They've been at the last few shows I've been to and had created a buzz amongst the usual people.
I'm guessing that the guy who was "funding" the project quickly saw that they were losing money.
Weird, I didn't need any "funding" for Claudia-Marie.Com when I opened it up in May of 2007. We had only 5 scenes (though I was shooting and adding a new one every week) and within 2 weeks we had a few hundred full members (I don't do trials)
The "Funding" came from the site itself. It was turning a profit the first month.
Maybe some of these girls that the little bubble of L.A. thinks are "big stars" aren't quite as popular outside of Orange County as they think

You know those girls did break my balls rather ruthlessly for calling them out, but I have to say it's bloody tough to be out of a job in 2009 in this market, I wouldn't wish it on many people. So I wish them the best of luck.

Wow, yes, huge booth at AEE in Vegas (people had to go up a flight of stairs to get to the girls, which made it real convenient for the handicapped -- ironic, I think remember Briana having a cast on her ankle).
I'm guessing that little thing in that Alexis TexASS megathread about Alexis having a pre-announced "official" site at PremiumPass might figure into the story.
