Chaturbate wants me to reset my payment info

    Chaturbate wants me to reset my payment info

    I got this weird message on my dashboard this morning after payment request yesterday:

    Your payments have been held as a payment was returned to us with invalid information. Please reset and correct your payout info.

    I didn't change any payment info, it's not invalid. I see my btc address is ok. So why the hell they want me to reset my payment info?

      Stupid idea. Why not contact them.

      Its possible that who you get payment to has a problem.

          maybe their system does not support the old Bitcoin addresses. there are differences in the beginning of the address.

              They wrote email to me that their system can't process my BTC address. Weird. I thought that bitcoin adresses are valid forever

                      Use compatibility address, it starts with 3. If you're getting payment to cold storage wallet (like you should) you should have options like Native Segwit (starts with bc), Compatible (starts with 3), Legacy (starts with 1), etc etc

                          I checked and what I see is:

                          Legacy Segwit (starts with 3)
                          Legacy (starts with 1)

                          both should be ok to get paid from Chaturbate

                          Seems like they aren not paying to the Taproot/Segwit addies that begin with "bc"

                          In trezor go to add new account, click Bitcoin, and you'll see the dropdown menu with the 4 choices there.

                              Yes, I did the same mistake. The input field for bitcoin is only 34 characters long on CB, but the bc.. addresses are 42 characters. So it will get truncated and become invalid.
