Porn is a very divisise, polarised topic.
Porn, guns, abortion, LBGTQ+ rights... for these topics, you nearly have 50% of supporters of 50% of ennemies.
And since politicians ultimately want to please the maximum of people to be elected again... they always try to please their supporters... but also somehow please their ennemies so they seduce them into voting for them next time...
That's why I don't believe in a full ban... maybe for the USA they could get a law saying that, as for gambling, each state decides if porn is legal or not, and decides maybe to give porn licenses like they're giving gambling licenses.
And actually... states creating their "morality and censorship administration" that would sell "porn licenses" to online companies to give them accreditation... that would be a good cash machine for states, it's something they could implement in a few years... and I would be glad to pay for that if that finally clarifies who can and who can't do adult business.
