Yeah, British girls are more likely to get drunk in the UK rather than anywhere else in the world for sure ;)

Seriously though..I don't know how they actually rate against other countries but there is a certain breed of British teenage girl that appears to exist only to try to compete with boys on how drunk and disorderly they can get.

I would also say that few countries in the western world examine themselves and poll on every aspect of their life as much as the British. I love the British people and I am now one of them but I often feel a lot of the problems are self fulfilling prophecies. Every where has problems but then they deal with them or hide them. Complaining is the national sport of the UK and if it can be done while complaining about youth all the better. So, there is a certain sort of hobby involved in these polls that results in the middle classes and up wanting to read them and shake their fingers at 'them'. Meanwhile the 'them' then decide they really are going to be 'like that' and start wearing such behavior as near badges of honor. It is a self fueled cycle of class warfare.

That is because the sort of British youth that go on drinking holidays are horrible examples of British youth. Then, there are the many, many others that are great tourists that back pack around the world on gap years, etc. It is just the ones that act like idiots are the ones that get noticed.

See the Ibiza thread. I wouldn't go there on vacation just because of the other British people that go. It is a bit like the sort of crowds that go to the big spring break locations. Some love it and the rest of us would go anywhere else to avoid it.
