          Actually I think it's pretty cool, you'll always get those 'strange' calls I'm sure but in this day and age of it getting harder and harder to turn a buck as a girl, doing something to maintain that personal relationship is awesome. Good for you and I hope it keeps you out one step ahead!

                  Honestly - who cares about the phone number, if she answers it, how often, blah blah blah. None of that matters.

                  The pure act of doing this = marketing/publicity GOLD. One of the most innovative ideas I've seen in the industry in a long long time.

                          An interesting move. I always like to see people trying new things.
                          Back in the day, before I had worked with most of the well known people
                          in the industry, I was excited when I got a phone call from one of my
                          favorite models. I had just finished "reviewing" ;) her site a few minutes
                          before she called, saying "I don't know if you've ever seen my site, here's
                          what I need ...". I'm thinking "yeah, I've been seeing your site just a few
                          minutes ago". If I, an industry professional remember that years later, I
                          bet the surfers will love it. Might have to change your number every so
                          often, but that's easy to do as often as you want if you do a little VOIP
                          bridge like we use here for other purposes.

Of course you can charge 3.99 a min but then it's not your prvate number anymore and you won't get more sales and for sure you won't fidelize the customer; that's just another fee based service and it has nothing to do with my move and its purpose. Same thing about skype: it does not have the same strenght commercially as the landline number of your fav model.

                                                                  The idea behind is to fidelize the user to the person and personality versus content. A solo girl cannot compete anymore content wise with all the free stuff around, tubes, big companies offering 1000's of GBs of diversified content, etc. But if you fidelize the user to the person and her/his personality offering real interaction, chance to meet, to talk and other which i will release soon, then the big content producers and free streamers cannot compete with you. That's at least how i see it ;)

The guys on the other end input their number, she puts in hers. Then the phone call is handled anonymously. Neither side sees the other's phone number.
                                                                      I'm assuming that's what you're doing? That way only current members can ever call you.
                                                                      Anyway, it's not exactly "new" to the industry as I just pointed out. Beside why would i use something like that on webcam, when there is already audio. Here we are talking about releasing your number like you did if you met someone at a disco or something. They get get the number, they call you whenever they want, you pick the call as usual when you can, same way you would do with your friends, relatives etc. All the girls you mentioned don't have their phone number posted on their website. I don't doubt streamate is great, but we are talking about two completely different things here.

Not just a number that will get spread around the internet to thousands of people who aren't spending a penny. Part of the marketing has to be IF you join the site THEN you get to interact.

                                                                                                      Unlike the other systems out there, I would imagine that members will feel more like your friend ... and not just a customer. That is a great connection to help your members make.

                                                                                                              Furthering on that idea, somebody would have to come up with some type of token system or something... Maybe login each time to get a random but unique pass code that has to be entered before the call is completed. There has to be a way to do that with VoIP and a custom script or two.

                                                                                                              The one downside I see to all of this is someone posting that private number in the comments section on a tube site ... like "she's hot ... you can call her anytime at..."

                                                                                                                                                  Just sign up for skype accounts and get as many numbers as you want, or get a google voice account number and redirect it to your normal phone during the hours you allow calls. Disable the forward when you want it off and not be be bothered. Skype you can sign up and get as many numbers as you need. Very small fee for a monthly or even yearly phone number with skype. But if you can get a google voice one you have more options to use it.

                                                                                                                                                              Let's try to recap: my phone number is available on my member's area for my fans. I did this in the effort of providing more interaction with my fans, to make them more loyal and to encourage new ones. I'm not new to these things since i already meet my fans for free and almost all my own productions are shot with my fans already.

                                                                                                                                                              I always believed that content and webcam are not enough anymore for the solo girls niche (in truth i believe it has lost appeal also in other niches, but this is a different thing); so far i have been right for what concerns myself if it's true that i'm in the biz since 3 years and that i make a very decent living after expenses with my own traffic.

                                                                                                                                                              I don't lead the edge of anything: i just had an idea, i've put it at work and i've made it public. What i do or don't technically, it's something that i'm certainly not going to share with everybody: do your research, if you are interested in putting the idea at work, like i did and come out with your own strategy and system. If you don't see the marketing value behind it, it's more than fair enough. I obvioulsy believe in it and i also believe that the concept behind it, with different tweaks, systems and strategies, will become a standard soon. If it will not, i'll be glad to remain an isolated case

                                                                                                                                                                              Have your web guy or yourself load a image, say a star with a red S for monday a circle with a blue B for tues etc. when they call, just ask, 'whats todays Phonecall image?" and if they are really a member (or at least really current) they'll have the answer.

                                                                                                                                                                              its that simple. You make them verify the daily image at the beginning of the call. If they get it wrong just say 'so sorry' 'Join now or go look again Ill be waiting!' I'll ttyl kiss kiss. and hang up.
