Why do you say that? Of the two hotels that I chose from the Venetian was more expensive so I figured it would be good. Besides, Sleazy said so!
Expensive doesn't equate to good really. I've stayed at the Venetian probably a dozen times and it never fails to have the worst service in town. From check-in thru the rest of the process, they are horrid. Ten minute room service breakfast takes two hours... if your a/c is not right (which has happened to me twice) it can take them days to fix it. The hotel will probably be completely full since CES is right after our show, will not be pretty.
Yuppers! I still need to book my hotel though. I used to live in Vegas, and I have gone back MANY times...I am thinking about staying someplace new. Mirage has an AWESOME pool, but it will be too cold to use...Luxor has INCREDIBLE spa suites, but been there done that and too far away from the action...Venetian is GORGEOUS...maybe I will try Paris, I have yet to stay there...

Jesus! I hope you're wrong. That would really make it an unpleasant experience. Maybe they treated you differently knowing you were in the adult industry? Maybe they assumed you were only interested in a hotel room to host orgies?
Oh well, I'll get what I want out of it. That I'm sure of.
yup KK, Venetian has a pretty poor track record on customer service....best, IMHO, is the Hard Rock...I gamble there quite a bit, so get room comps from time to time and their service is always top notch....
for rooms the venetian is the best. for gambing...there are other hotels.........this may be what kimmykim is getting at.
That's all I want, something nice. I'm not going to spend most of my time in the room anyway, not even for room service. And I'm not inviting any hookers up to the room either for health reasons. That and the fact that they don't deserve it.

rose tours from internext page is cheaper to book rooms through than the hotel direct.
This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!
The Venetian is well aware of who is with what group, especially if you register through Rose. Of course don't be sure you will actually have a room there until they are in it -- 2 Januarys ago they had to put 600 rooms over to Treasure Island since the hotel was overbooked. They could fuck up a wet dream there.
I actually used to like to gamble there Sleazy, until the 6k chip cashing incident this past January, now I'd be happy not to set foot in the place, except to eat at Delmonico's.
I have never stayed at the Venetian and had good service, convention or not. If the Mandalay had been able to guarantee their convention center would have been ready in time it is my understanding the show would have been moved there. And Mandalay is so much better for service, especially the Four Seasons up top.
Kayla -- Paris has really small rooms, though they do have some good restaurants.
Sykkster, I don't like the Hard Rock, even tho Rich works over there now -- too many kids, too much cologne in the air and the place looks like a motel from the outside lol ;)

maybe they just don't like you? They've always been good to me.....

be at both shows. have it at mandalay will be sweet (i was told in 2004). if you're not sure about going, you should try to make it. anything will be better than the hotel service in Hollywood this past Aug

Um, right, Brad was there for the chip cashing incident, I wouldnt expect to see his name in their reservations system any time soon...
I am not sure where I am staying yet. I like the Aladdin, Mandalay, Four Seasons, and the Mirage has some nice setups I have heard. It's just as easy to grab a cab to the front door of the convention center as it is to walk the 43 miles from the rooms to the convention center, and sometimes doesn't take as long ;)

You're the only person that can steer a completely innapropriate comment made to you into something with class, lol.
I don't know anything about the chip cashing incident. Anyway, nice to see that some hotels there suite your tastes.

I think you have made me blush
The stupid Venetian casino refused to cash out some chips of theirs thru the London Club casino at the Aladdin. Had to take a trip all the way to the Venetian to cash them out and then had a 30 minute ordeal with one of the casino VPs having to come downstairs and approve the cashout, since someone didn't use their players club card the night before and did not cash out that night either.
