My TV just died

The tube sizzled and died this morning. Stunk everything up. I still had a old TV with the tube in it. It was like 10 years old haha. But it worked fine.

So now I gotta get a HD flat screen so I can be all pimpy.

If you watch a lot of tv 2-3 hours per day then you wont be disappointed. I have a 50 inch plasma in my house and I love it. I crash out infront of it on a Sunday and watch soccer, F1, movies etc. I'm not at my house nowadays so I'm missing my big tv, I only have a small one in my Condo, but I'lll be buying a new one in the next week.

I have a 50" 1080p Plasma hanging on the wall in my bedroom, and yes I'll agree with everyone else here that is has an amazing picture.

But the tv in my living totaly blows it away.

55" Series 8 Samsung LED LCD. Its a little expensive but but it makes my plasma tv look wimpy.

Well technically unless your are watching blu-rays there is almost nothing in 1080p. As far as I know all the networks and cable channels broadcast HD in either 720p or 1080i. There just isn't enough bandwidth to go around for all 1080p broadcasting.

Just hold out a few months. Black Friday is almost here...lol

I deny myself all kinds of goodies throughout the year and shop like a woman on Black Friday. Hit three or four stores, spend a few grand every year. Love it.
