I haven't seen the movie but based on the trailer - It does look like a 'girl power' reboot of under seige. It's a woman (girl power!) saving the day, kicking the asses of battle-hardened soldiers in hand to hand combat, as if trying to show that woman are physically equal to and even stronger than men.Mechanical Bunny Media

1. Her back story is pure #metoo, where we are told she had a white old man try to take advantage of her. We have this confirmed also by another female soldier who claims all female soldiers are sexually assaulted.

4. Back story of bad guy is America sucks and is a lie.
5. White soldier is sexist/rapist and racist.

Next stupid story:
1. Apparently it is easy to steal Russian nuclear weapons.
2. Apparently it is easy to drive Russian nuclear weapons around Russia and no one will notice.
3. Apparently on America INTERCEPTOR bases are easy to attack. We have an American defence base near me in England. I stopped to check my wheel on my car a few years ago. They had a police car next to me in two mins to make sure I was not a bad person.
4. When the Interceptor is attacked, they send two helicopters out. I suspect they would have jet fighter planes in the real world and arrive in minutes. And a full fleet.
5. Apparently no one notices that the janitors look fitter and stronger than the solders on the base.
6. Apparently no one notices that one of janitors looks looks like the son of someone important.
7. Apparently America does not bother to use any planes or anything to go after nuclear weapons. The only missiles they have must be on the interceptor.
8. Apparently Russia no longer has a self defence system that could blow up the nukes as soon as they are launched.
9. Apparently satellite systems do not work, and no one could track the nukes being stolen.Comment

It is woke because her back story is she is a victim of a white male who has a high rank. Then we are told by another female that ALL females in the army have suffered such abuse.
In truth, the story does not explain why she has such training, as it suggests she is more office based. In Under Siege we are told he is a former Navy SEAL.
In Under Siege when you see the top brass they are sat around a table debating, and you feel the tension. In this film, they are doing webcam, stood looking stupid. At that stage your at high risk, and as such, they would be on a safe nuclear war room, not sat as if they are watching a baseball game.
If you take Alien, Sigourney Weaver looks stressed. You feel her emotions. In this film, people are just saying a few silly lines, and look as calm as anything. The reality is, they could be starting a full scale nuclear war, with nothing left. Even if you only hit the USA, the radiation, would presumably infect other countries. You would think some of those involved would be a bit stressed.Comment

As for the Russian submarine.
How did they detect it, then they are almost impossible to detect.
Why did the sub not simply blow up the base with a torpedo?
Did the submarine not have nukes? If so, why did it not launch them directly next to a back in America where they would have no time to hit with missiles.
Was the sub Russian military or Russian terrorists? If they were terrorists why did they not kill her at the end hoping that would start a war, or at very least kill a witness.
Why did the USA or even the UK have subs in the area, if not a fleet of warships, if they had noticed a Russian sub in the area for days?Comment

Out of interest, have you watched this film, or are you simply trying to defend it, because you think it makes you look good defending anything woke.
It reminds me of Ghostbusters (2016 film), when people defended it, because they wanted desperately to look like a good person, and so said it was great (even though they had never seen it). It was rubbish, not because it had females, but because it had no real story, and poor jokes, bad acting, a cast that did not work as a team. If anything, it seemed to be a 2 min low budget dull TV sketch, turned into a fill film.Comment

Its not the fact that these films are woke. Its the fact that they have zero substance and will just do speeches.
In this film, she basically is saying I am female and as such a victim, to white males who abuse me. This is backed up by another female who states that all women in the military are victims of sexual abuse.
The bad guy then, tells us a speech how the USA is a lie, and needs to be blown up.
The bad guy then tells us using the person of colour that he is a victim as he will not be treat the same as someone white because of his religious beliefs.
We even have a point at the end about ageism. Where her dad is saved by other elderly people. Not sure why he is even in a home, as he looks fit and healthy enough to live on his own.
The Pentaverate, on the last show. We are told that things are great as it got rid of all the white males, and replaced them with a diverse power. Yet must have forgotten that one of the bad people was non white. I guess we must forget that Mike Myers was not woke with Austin Powers films with characters such as Fat Bastard, and the babe bots and so on.
Why is everyone pretending this woke rubbish is what people believe. Everyone has got scared in case they something that is not woke and the bullies pile on. And everyone turns into a bully to avoid being bullied.

You may ne be aware of this, but they have things such as rottentomatoes.com where films are reviewed. 3. I am not sure if 1 in 4 have been assaulted. The link below suggest that 1 in 5 who have been assaulted report it. It suggests that 5,061 troops reported cases of assault but only 484 cases went to trial. We should also remember that just because someone claims to have been assaulted, does not mean they have. An example being the Amber Heard trial.
