If I had that money, I would most likely pay someone else to shoot content for me... get it exclusively... have a theme and such.. I'd be too shy to shoot video/take pics.. and likely not the best at it either, unless amateur is what you're trying to make. ... $6-8k for video content, $1-2k for design (that is with you already thinking up a great concept for a site), and then $2k for advertising a bit - get someone to build some good gallery templates, submit them... get 100-200 members, and any money incoming, use initially for more content, and expanding member base... Oh.. and get a good deal hosting at LikeWhoa's hosting, and mention my name so Stan will hook you up with a discount because he's so greatful to me; I give his soon-to-be-wife good sex.. ;)

The amount of capital you need to spend depends on your knowledge of the adult market. I suggest you get to know the market, surf TGP's, read the boards, build galleries, learn some traffic development skills before you jump into this.

I reckon with my knowledge base I could start a sucessful paysite with 3k in total start up costs, advertizing included. Not hard to do if you are willing to be part of the content, ala this, or this Tom's (va2K) site is the same way.

Starting with 3k it would take a while to open, because you'd need to shoot a decent base of your own content to start with, but its possible if you are willing to work at it.

There is a good market for that sort of stuff.

12k? i agree with kk.. it probably wont get you very far.

this is not a good environment to be starting a sponsor program unless you really know what you're doing.
