But for real: it's sad because I'm worried about the children, and they should really do regular maintenance on those rides, and I know that they don't. What a fuckn shame. This prolly could've been prevented.

You know, Disnyland has a pretty good track record.
I can't remember a time that anything like this has happened before. I know it has at other theme parks.

these things happen but they usually cart the injurd off the disneyland grounds because it is supposed to be sacred and no one is supposed to die at disneyland.

a couple years ago there was a show on tv over here about injuries at Disney World in Florida. It was full of people that had been injured - some seriously - at Disney World and who never saw a single cent from Disney. In Orlando at least they have involvements with so many of the personal injury lawyers in the town that it is almost impossible to find one that is able to take a case up against Disney.
One case was when one of the electric light parade vehicles went wrong and crashed into a kid and burned her badly. Never saw a cent.
I don't know if they have the same kind of hold in Anaheim but I hear the Disneyland jail is fun.Comment
