i just know ex's are ex's for a reason and i have yet to even fathom a reason to get back with an ex. i have stayed friends with 2 of my ex's, and one of them not only was hot, fairly well off money wise, and did not have that many issues. still would not get back with her if someone paid me and she did not cheat on me nor nothing like that. just was an ex and we broke up because i found her goals and such not lined up with mine.Comment

I believe in second chances, this thread was just a general statement, because my ex girlfriend who I was with for the last year and a half, and broke up with a month ago, and I had an abortion (save that argument for someone who cares, because I'm pro-choice and I don't care if you think it's wrong or not.), because we both decided we weren't ready for a child, and I found out last night, from a very grateful friend of hers, that she wasn't for sure if the child was mine.
That's what this thread was about, that she cheated on me and I didn't find out until after we broke up, and she wanted to still be friends after that too.
Well, I'm done with her, cut off all ties with her period literally 3 minutes before I started this thread.Comment

So since your literary education is limited to knowing the difference between "your" and "you're", which was taught to you on GFY, I'll give you a quick little English lesson.
That statement right there says that you have decided to get back with her in the FUTURE....That's why you wrote I've, which is an abbreviation for I HAVE....Now if you wrote "I'd", meaning I HAD, meaning that it happened in the PAST.then that would make your statement much clearer..
You could have even gotten away with "I decided", which wouldn't have been as clear but could still be interpreted either way....

i would never say "give her the benefit of the doubt" but i will say that people have talked all kinds of shit on me since i entered this industry and 1% of it is true or partially true (ie: i went into the bathroom with a friend (true) and i sucked his dick while in there (not true). always consider the source and what they have to gain by telling you something about her. did they already hate on her? where they jealous of her relationship with you back then? again, not saying she didn't do what you were told she did, just don't always believe stories/rumors/gossip unless the person can stand in front of you both and say "i was there and i saw it". i hear news about my ex all the time and i hate it so i know how it feels. sorry you are hurting over her again.Julie Larson

People who think that if they keep the secret but "someday" will tell it are the stupidest people on earth. Doing that only shows how little you actually care. If you actually cared, it's likely you would cry and blurt it out and ask to be forgiven. Thats how caring people would behave. With genuine contrition.
