    why does my blog keep bouncing on DA...

    So i´ve checked a few DA sites, my blog keeps jumping from 44 to 27 and back again every few hours?

    do the domain authority sites take time to propagate like registry and stuff?



    this has been over the past few days

      A few DA Sites? there's only one DA site, MOZ
      DA is a MOZ rating the site you are showing is Ahrefs. Ahrefs calls it DR domain Rating.

      MOZ uses Domain authority
      Ahrefs uses Domain Rating
      Google has Page rank

      You can have an ahrefs domain rating of 44
      and a moz domain authority of 27
      a google page rank of 2
      etc

          BTW, people should stop blindly staring at those metrics, and valuing sites by it. They are useless pieces of information on itself, and just a small piece of the puzzle.
          They are not used by google
          They dont' give any guarantee on search engine ranking,traffic, traffic quality
          They don't tell you anything about the revenue

          I have DA 50 sites that rank shit and hardly bring in any money
          Yet I could sell links or posts on those sites if I wanted to for $$$

          Then I have DA 10 sites that rank high for a lot of high converting terms, bring in a lot of money monthly, but according to metrics are pretty much worthless.

                          You are the exact example what I mean. DA on itself means absolute shit. It can even be faked easily with a crap backlink profile and it wont have any worth for google.

                          It's a metric that you can at best use as a "first impression" to quickly check out a site. But it wont tell you anything about the income or actual value of the site

                          And you are talking nonsense. My da 10 blog brings in 10K net per month, ranking for uncooperative keywords high converting keywords. In fact most of my earning blogs have low DA. Because i spend my time converting

                          It's much better to have a few high quality backlinks that googles like that increase their page rank than a ton of shit backlinks that give you a high Score on MOZ website


                          I will say it again DA is a metric that is constructed and used by company MOZ NOT BY GOOGLE
                          also it has nothing to do with Ahref metrics. or any other metrics.
                          And a high DA doesn't guarantee anything in google

                          And Yes backlinks are a ranking signal for google , but lots of backlinks and a high DA rating doesn't mean shit on itself. SO instead of relying on DA use a decent backlink checker and check your bcklink profile yourself
                          Yes big sites that do good in google often have a high DA.
                          That doesn't mean that a high DA als means will rank high

                          Its the same as saying most professional basketball players are tall.
                          It doesn't mean that every tall person automatically is a great basketball player. There are more factors to it

                          But I'm not gonna get into this discussion again. Ive had it a thousand times

                          Keep getting wet over high DA
                          If every thing turns to shit I can always sell overpriced backlinks and blogspots to idiots who look at DA without actually investigating the site themselves

                                  MOZ is not a DA checker MOZ is the Company who designed and developed the metric

                                  Ahrefs is another company with its own AUTHority rating.

                                  Google's authority rating is Page rank, which is not public anymore

                                  and there are more

                                  With a authority checker you can check one of them, some show two of them some show many more

                                  You are seeing different results because You are comparing totally different metrics

                                  And the last time I asked people if they noticed change in their google rankings?

                                                  ffs, please, I don´t care what moz or any other rating is, I checked Ahref earlier and it was 44, then i checked again a few hours later, it was 27, and a few times again, again, it bounced! It´s coincidental that the MOZ is 27, as i´ve never checked or been on a MOZ site or what ever...

                                                  my thread question is, can a rating site bounce about, if so, why or simply, is it like a domain propagating, considering now my blog DA on Ahref does seem to be holding stable at 44...

                                                  I do not and have not checked MOZ and just want to know why it was bouncing on Ahref, ok.

                                                      And no it's not possible that your ahrefs rating bounces back and forth from 27 to 44 back in a matter of hours. Unless multiple sites remove backlinks to your sites at the same times and then at the exact same time put them back up, and then magically ahrefs bots also rediscover all the links at the exact same within the 15minutes update time frame they have.

                                                              for you to say this, it´s pretty fucked up, i checked it yesterday a few times and it showed 27 and 44 a few times, i wouldn´t say it did if it didn´t and dont lie!

                                                              if you think i am, then this is showing yourself as a distrustful ass hat, as i am not and never have lied!

                                                              I started this thread to ask why, and still my question is why would my da change a few times, bouncing on the ahref site, as this was the one it was bouncing on, i´d checked the other one i mentioned and not the moz site, i´ve never checked the moz site...

                                                              and Baddog, i have you on ignore and have for months, so not sure what you´re saying, if it´s helpful, a shame, as i have you on ignore so don´t know what you´re saying.

                                                                                                  then 2 mins later was 44 again!

                                                                                                  next time it drops i´ll post with bottom of screen showing the time and date...

                                                                                                  i´m the one feeling harassed here and it´s my thread asking why it´s bouncing...

                                                                                                  it has bounced for days. I´ve just checked again and still 44 but when it goes to 27 i´ll show you again with time and date at bottom of screen.

                                                                                                                          and with 44 it's at 170K backlinks

                                                                                                                          I didn't have time to see which backlinks are gone when it's at 27.

                                                                                                                          Probably one of the high authority sites with site-wide backlinks is sometimes unreachable for Ahrefs crawlers, could be that links really aren't present, maybe a rotating script, or due to server issues/downtime of the site with the backlinks.
