They've been saying they're going "back" for at least twenty years now, because with each passing decade it becomes more and more obvious that they never went in the first place. Eg:

There is a large percentage of intelligent / highly educated people living outside of the United States who question if the US landed on the moon or if Hollywood movie magic made it all appear to be real. Let's not forget there are documentaries produced by Americans, and featuring Americans that suggest the moon landing never in fact happened.

The skepticism is justified.

I don't know about the moon landing, but as an American who has traveled abroad more than probably 90% of Americans, I can say with 100% certainty, it is an absolute travesty on mankind that people like brassmoney are given the opportunities so many deserving others will never be given in their lifetimes.

And with 69K posts we can deduct that BrassMonkey clearly has a lot of time on his or her hands , we do not know as fact that he or she has A/C. While living in the Palm Springs area, where it can reach 117 F, I learned that local building codes require heating but not A/C. J.C., looks like I have been spending way too much time on here as well .

Everybody used Nazis. For example only in Soviet Union more than a million of Germans (Nazis and just soldiers) were working to labor camps.

But we are not talking about Nazis. We are talking about Wernher von Braun - a single man worth a billion or regular Nazis. And he was behind the co-called American space program including the Moon program as well.

I can tell BM is indeed an elderly male, as Sarah of Zuzana Designs posted a photo of them two several years ago here on gfy. He lives outside Phoenix (Goodyear), AZ and I would be willing to bet his dwelling requires air conditioning by law. Again, only in the USA could somebody with a room temperature IQ live as comfortably as he does.

It's not about thinking it's fake. If you're constantly told something happened then that's simply what you'll believe, and that's the only reason most people do believe it, but with every passing decade it becomes more and more notable that we have never gone 'back'.

Is there any other historical leap for mankind that was never built upon and refined? The wheel? Voyages of discovery? The car? The plane? Satellites and space stations?

Half a century ago we could send people to the Moon every six months to play space golf, and now with 50 more years of scientific and technological advancement, and at least two additional space superpowers - EU/ESA and China, plus potentially India - nobody has even attempted it for some reason...

Only 2 people knew about the blow job. Is what like several 100000 about the moon shot? And they all kept a secret?

Why would 100,000 people need to be told it was fake? The only people who'd need to know are the people who needed to know. Even Nixon wouldn't have to be told.

When 130,000 people worked on the Manhattan Project many, if not most, didn't even know what they were working on until the bombs dropped, and there are many examples of state secrets that we only know about because they were declassified decades after the event.

Weird that I have never watched someone walk on the moon even though they have been there since before I was born. Weird to think about. Looking forward to seeing it live.

The moon is just a light and it's easy to prove it :
- You can see the blue of the sky through the moon. This is impossible if the moon is a solid object
- You can see stars through the moon, it's been proven by astronomers for centuries. This is impossible if the moon is a solid object.

For these 2 reasons - and there are many more - the moon is just a disc of light, probably a plasma.

No one is "going back to the moon"
This is just another BS story to keep the masses entertained...
