Handy hint: during the Vietnam War (in which "we" slaughtered more people than in Iraq) Ukraine was part of the USSR and received its orders from Moscow, Russia.
'Supplying the North Vietnamese' was also a case of supporting a local population that wanted independence/self-determination, free of an imperialist superpower, just like some people in North America wanted 200 years earlier, and people in Ukraine want now.
