Putin has been throwing a lot of reasons for his 'special operation' at the wall in hopes something sticks. First it was NATO expansion. He also argued that Ukraine has always been part of Russia and needs to remain so. Now he has dropped both of those arguments and is insisting this is to free Ukraine of Nazi nationalists who commit atrocities against Russian ethnics. He's convinced Russian that is Ukraine who is shelling and killing their own civilians. For what? to make Russia look bad. And he is calling the West's support for Ukraine's defense 'provocation' for further escalation.
Anyone who believes Putin, and repeats his lies and misinformation, has blood on their hands.

As the Russian military has suffered unexpected setbacks in its war on Ukraine, the invading forces have increasingly hit civilian sites with airstrikes. On the sixth day of the Russian assault, at least five people were killed in the capital Kyiv when a television tower near the site of the Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial was targeted. At least 10 people were killed when a rocket exploded in front of an administrative building located in the central square of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city. Hospitals, schools and apartment buildings have been destroyed by a bombardment that shows no sign of letting up.
