I guess since this is my first post I should introduce myself, huh? My name is Chris and I am a 20 year old college student living in St. Petersburg, Fl (God's waiting room...hoping to move to Miami soon). I've always enjoyed looking at porn, and I've always understood that the monetary potential in porn is huge, so I decided to do some research and become involved in the industry.
My main goal is to own and run my own paysite, an amateur all-girl site much like mattsmodels.com. Realizing how many paysites are already out there, I'm hoping to attract a more loyal and dedicated fanbase by adding a forum and a blog, and host contests and webcam shows regularly. I'd sell DVD's through the site as well.
I'm not really planning on starting on the paysite anytime soon since I don't have the money to invest or the education to back up the risk. For now I am making money through VOD sites like clips4sale and clipclinic, as well as selling DVD's through the various auction sites. It allows me to profit without investing too much money. I put some teasers on youtube, which drives a lot of traffic to my site. Trouble is that the clips usually get deleted at around 30,000 views (I've gotten as high as 175,000 before though). Using this system I can make anywhere from $300 - $600 per month. I know it's not that much to most of you, but it pays my rent.
Anyway, here's one of the teasers. I would love to know what you think of it and if you have any suggestions on how to make it better. I think they came out very well considering my equipment cost me less than a grand - $500 for a Canon HV-20 + $30 wide angle lens + $50 shotgun mic + $100 lighting.
My main beef is the sound quality. There's a lot of background camera noise. If anyone has any tips on how to get rid of it I'd much appreciate it. Clips are edited using Pinnacle Studio 12
