Oh i'm sure there are designers that will do it... but expecting good designers to enter a contest for $75 is ridiculous. Make it $275 and you'll have a flood of great logos to pick from.

If a designer DOESNT want $75 then stay out of the thread, lots of designers can use $75 and are not all millionaires like all these other GFY desginers. If you DONT Like the thread or the prize then stay out

I think Pete has a valid point.

If people have (a little bit) time off - why they couldn't enter? It has nothing to do with insulting designers.

Okay, Pete his buddy is on a budget, but so what? Entering contests like these are an easy way to showcase your work, and possibly get more work from other people by doing so.
