High school + some college...got as far as I could in college without having to study, which turned out to be about 3 years. Unfortunately upper level math classes aren't so easy and I had absolutely no study ethic because everything up til that point was easy as shit for me.

I got a double bachelors, 2 minors and a JD degree.

I kept going to school because i was training and competing in BJJ and i really didnt want to work in the real world. I made great money applying for every scholarship that was available, state aid and BJJ food + money sponsorships.

I finally finished all of my schooling at 28 years of age. Thats a lot of schooling, but i made a comfortable living going to school.lol

Albeit I'm neither a journalist or creative writer, the degree's opened doors, and creativity's a plus when building websites. So I'll refuse to call the degree a waste; overpriced maybe, but not a waste.

4 years of college that add up to nothing (dropped out of Computer Info Systems after the first year when the teacher told me Java and Flash were just fads, so we wouldn't be covering them. Instead we spent 6 months learning Novell Netware 1.0) So then I took online courses in Flash design and HTML and a touch of PHP.

Before that I had 2 years of general arts courses majoring in Psychology and English Lit, which, as we know, is Muy Importante when getting work ;)
