    Business A Few Questions from a Production Newbie

    Hi y'all. I'm back with some of the main questions I currently have/research on.

    1. What is the best way or ways to professionally find and hire (local) talent?

    Ideally without using a third party talent agency as there are no real nearby options.

    2. Can contracts and processes be written up without a lawyer?

    I feel that I understand that there needs to be testing, ID verification, written consent regarding all aspects of what a model agrees to, etc.

    3. I'm aiming to start by leveraging other people's networks to truly validate the brand before building out a dedicated site or anything.

    Is this a good way to start out with a new content/production brand?

      1. Go to strip clubs, advertise on Craigslist.

      2. You don't need to be a lawyer but you do need to know what to include and the verbiage to use.

          Thank you for this. There are no strip clubs in my province, but I understand what you mean. I've also used craigslist/doublelist types of sites before for similar things.

              local papers can be good, "looking to make money in porn?" or "want to be an adult actress?"

              advertise in adult shops, or call local escorts or escort agencies,, see if you can do a deal with the agency...

                          Might also try work some offline deals with adult shops and escort agencies.

                              You're getting terrible advice here.

                              Try this.

                              Hire one of these adult industry lawyers (like this guy https://adultbizlaw.com/) and have them walk you though what you need. Maybe they will steer you in the right direction in all facets of the adult biz laws/2257/model contracts + where to get the models etc..

                              There are laws surrounding the production of adult videos. Do not skimp on this.

                              If you don't have the money to do it right keep working your day job till you do.

                              Oh and get a good accountant.

                                  I'd listen to this guy, since his main pay site is shooting mostly first timers.
