I've been to a bunch of haunted places around NY, and I've never witnessed anything that was spooky or unsettling. I'm a bit disappointed, to be honest.

I have had some really freaky things happen to me but have never seen a ghost. I do have a picture of one though. When I went to New Orleans years ago I took a picture of a hotel hallway because it reminded me of the hallway in the Shining. When we got the pictures back (this is before digital cameras) there was a very clear shape present that looked like a man. The hotel was supposedly haunted.ICQ# 419 775 271

way back in the days... I remember my grandma treid to scare me and my brother by telling us scary tales about a woman without head who would walk slowly down the street dragging chains and making weird noises....
I was 10yo and I wanted to see that thing so bad... that my brother and I would stay up till 3 am looking out the window, waiting to see this thing.... but it never showed up....

I own a couple of buildings that are haunted, one of them being the office that GTS is in. The building is over 100 years old and has been used as a home mostly but the last 20-30 years mostly as a commercial building.
We did a paranormal investigation about a year ago and sure enough we found out that our suspicions were correct and we did have a couple of ghosts here. One of them being an old man that used to be an old owner of the building. He moves stuff around all the time here, we have an aquarium with an automatic fish feeder and every night that fish feeder gets moved. (i guess he doesn't like fish?). He will also move stuff around the office for no apparent reason and from time to time chairs will just start spinning around? It's pretty creepy here at night let me tell you haha! The other ghost is a child but we don't hear much about her very often (apparently she died on the corner of the property) but wasn't a former resident of the property.
So to answer your questions, have i ever seen a ghost? No... But i know for sure that they exist and can definetly make things interesting haha!Comment

I cannot say I have ever actually seen a ghost, but wow, I have had some freaky things happen to me that has left me thinking there could be no other reason but a ghost in the house. lol
We were at my best friend's house and we had been using the phone to prank call people.. only TWO of us in the house, she was upstairs and i was downstairs. After we had our fun, we were eating lunch at the bar, the phone rang and we jumped about a foot, but I answered it..... keep in mind we were the only two at home and hadn't left each other's side in more than an hour. Phones do not ring if one is off the hook correct? We answered the phone and heard a click and freaked out. We ran upstairs as fast as we could move and seen the phone sitting there off the hook and the chair in the room was moving, a rocking chair, touched the seat of the chair and it was warm. Freaks me out thinking about it. lol

They would fight you with the windows... I would open or close one... they would right then do the opposite....
Vacuums would power on... lights...
One night a loaf of bread was thrown across a room at my mother. Didnt hit her or even make it half way... but a good 12 feet it got tossed toward her.
They would let our dogs out sometimes when they needed to go out...
The loaf of bread was the most 'aggressive' action I know of...
One time i actually seen a figure float up into the ceiling... but thats the only actual visual i got...Comment

Well I will say one ghost- Once around 3 am, by a church. He was dressed in some weird old clothing and didn't want us around, that was in Kansas over 15 yrs ago.
2nd- A shadow person, here in Vegas....he was a young boy, around 10 yrs old. He drove our older son insane (I think he wanted to play with him) Our son would point at him and be scared, we never acted as if he wasn't there, we just told our son that we couldn't see him, until one night....my son came in my room to sleep, I woke to see the "shadow boy" standing at the side of my bed. He disappeared quick.
I now have to tell my son, there are NO ghosts in this house....different house.
At the other house we were close to Mt. Charleston, I heard that the Indians would go to Mt. Charleston in the winter to escape the heat, and back down in the Valley of Vegas in the winter. I think he was a boy from many yrs ago...that never crossed over, I felt no harm in the other home. It/he just freaked my son out.Comment

Back in 90' I lived in a house that was built in 1905. The house was on the Balboa Peninsula near the old brothel on Main St.
In the early 20's some lady hung herself in the closet. The closet was in my room. My neighbor show me some images that were etched in the glass. They supposedly showed up years after here death. I heard some freaky noises coming from the closet but never saw the chick.
My surf buddy who rented the room to me. Sadly he committed suicide over the love of his life 2 years ago. He was the ladies great great grandson.Comment
