I'm a Sept Sober Bday as well. On the 28th of this year, ill have 9 years.
Congrats all.
To this day, I am amazed at how many of my problems - most of which had nothing to do with drinking, I believed - have become manageable or have simply disappeared since I quit drinking.

Congrats. I had an 18 month sober streak from booze from Christmas 2019. Unfortunately, the streak ended after 19 months. I'm back on the wagon as of three days ago and will go at least through 2022, but hopefully I give it up for good.Comment

Not once in 32 years have I never thought fuck I should have drank or used that time 7 years ago when I had a problem.
Just go to one of the standby's for drinking. sex, food, gambling, abuseive behavior lol

The 1st thing you figure out when you get clean is being cleaned sucks that's why you use in the 1st place.
So it comes down to this which is worse, using or not using?
32 years ago for me using was worse. That has never changed.
You gotta figure out how you feel about it bro.
