I just watched the weigh-ins live on "Inside MMA" on HDNet tonight. Does anyone watch that show on DirecTV? It's great if you are a MMA junkie. Gina looked in great shape but I still am afraid that Cyborg is going to smash her. I think the odds are 9 to 5 in Cyborg's favor. I am sure that the execs at Strikeforce and Showtime are hoping that Gina wins. She's pretty, she's American and speaks English. Not as much upside potential for the sport if manly looking Brazilian Cris Cyborg Santos wins. Despite all the shuffling of fights, there's some other good fights on the card as well- Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs Moussasi for the Strikeforce light heavyweight championship and a few others.

This is a girl is named Lisa Bjornstad. I used to train and take to the fights on the indian reservations back 98-2000. This is the very 1st girl tapout ever sponsored. The fights were 5 minute rounds back then. When she was the IFC girls champ she fought Chuck Lidels Babys mama, who was a baddass for five 5 minute rounds and a 5 minute overtime round. 30 minute fights.

IFC fights never got broken up. Fights were stopped by KO or towel thrown in. Very bloody and were very real deal. Back then i had fighters where i had to thrown in the towel because the ref was not going to stop the fight and my guy was to fucked up to tap and had no idea where he was.

This is were Lisa fought and was the very 1st woman to hold any cage fighting title ever, anywhere. She was the 1st and she was a serious baddass!!

I think Cyborg is gonna win. she seems more like a fighter with the fighter mentality.

Deej, I'm surprised really. Gina didn't capitalize on the 2 mounts she was gifted by Cyborg, and she looked sluggish. Huge props to Cyborg, she fought classic Chute Boxe, and is the female version of Wanderlai Silva.
