I gave up on the idea of investing in bitcoin many years ago but have always kept an eye on the price and it never ceases to amaze me how something that does basically nothing is valued so much. an investment in an idea, to me at least. it will probably be the biggest investment miss in my lifetime.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

I think I have an idea of what its all about but the thing is I don't care about fiat money and all the things some bitcoin people say will happen one day with banks or whatever. I just want an easy money investment. Everyone uses it as an investment and not a currency, the price is up and down all the time and its too complex for day to day use for the average person I don't believe bitcoin will ever be widely used to buy stuff. I do believe there will be an accepted digital currency but it won't be bitcoin. The real thing to come out of bitcoin is the blockchain.
Investing in bitcoin now, I feel like a sucker since I could of invested when it was $70 a coin. I see no real point in investing now as even if it goes up, I am not going to make hundreds of thousands or millions off it now. I can make an extra 10k a month off my current investments just putting a bit more into them.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

Your first mistake about investing is not caring about banks or devaluation of fiat currency. This is the whole point of investing, to preserve or gain wealth, so if you're in it to make $1 turn into $2 you might as well gamble on random sports games or roulette.
