If so, head up A1A a few miles and rent in Hallandale Beach. You'll be in South Beach or Ft. Lauderdale in 20 minutes depending on which direction you head.

It's also where Internext is being held. Well, that's technically Hollywood, but the Diplomat practically sits on the Hollywood/Hallandale Beach border.

I want to open my door, walk downstairs, and be on the beach in 2 minutes..

Lived right on the beach for 9 years. Redondo beach on the esplanade. Herd the waves crashing every night and watched the sunset almost everyday. Was great!!

Check out Beach Club in Hallandale Beach; look them up and call them and ask if they have rentals. They probably have a list of condo rentals and/or can direct you to the most active agent that handles leasing for the complex.

They have a ton of condo owners there that bought during the bubble and would be happy to make a few dollars.

You may want to pretend it's at least a six month lease when you call the actual building...I don't know if their bylaws prevent short-term rentals, but I'm sure owners/agents will be more accommodating.

Used to live in the St. Joseph, MI area during my high school years. Beautiful beach (ya even in MI) with some nice rentals smack dab on the beach. Check it out... I have been to many beaches in FL etc and Silver Beach beats them all.
