Yeah, the only meaning one could take was that of equating Obama with a nazi, I dont think the woman meant Obama was bad luck. Unless you take the sign to mean that she was literally against nazi's but for Obama. lol.

It's obvious the initial poster was wrong, and later proved himself clueless about rudimentary high school level history on WWII.
These protesters can do whatever they want this is American after all; however, there is a point at which they aren't really protesting policies, rather they are just the fringe (truthers, birthers, anti-tax, anti-globalists people etc.). The fringe is generally problematic b/c they allow the other side to paint your side as nut cases due to association.
The fringe association trick is what the Republicans used against the democrats and now the Democrats are using the same playbook.

Seriously folks, I have no beef here, we all know Nazis used the symbol and made it bad... i have no reason to argue with you, i just like these censorship type of topics. I do not support nazi use of it, but as a symbol its use is ancient and well documented and people use it everyday still, just cant print it here in the US. ;)

Ah ok.
I got your back on the symbolism stuff, it's unfortunate that words and symbols have been allowed to become toxic; however, we are waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Europe. In Europe, it's a crime to use and/or denigrate some symbols -- while denigrating others is "legitimate discourse."
Yeah of course Pelosi is going to gin it up that's what politicians do to make big ratings for Fox (Limbaugh etc.) with .05% fringe and 20% who find the fringe interesting to watch; however, push independents away from Republicans who seem to want to embrace the fringe.
For others...
Say what you want about Pelosi, but she consistently out manuvers her male counterparts AND doesn't cry when people make fun of her like Palin and Clinton.

I have posted this on here before and will do so again. Here is my piece of US history to share.
The 45th Infantry Division of the United States Army used a yellow swastika on a red background as a unit symbol until the 1930s, when it was switched to a thunderbird. The American Division wore the swastika patch while fighting against Germany in World War I.
The Lafayette Escadrille squadron flew World War I fighters against Germany from 1916 to 1918, first as volunteers under French command and later as a US unit. The official squadron insignia was a Native American with a swastika adorned headdress. Some of the squadron planes also bore a large swastika in addition to the squadron insignia.
Among the Lafayette Escadrille members who were killed in action was Arthur Bluethenthal of Wilmington, North Carolina, who is buried in a Jewish cemetery with a grave marker that includes the squadron insignia, complete with swastika.
The U.S. Army 12th Infantry Regiment coat of arms includes a number of historic symbols. A tepee with small, left facing swastikas represents the unit's campaigns in the Indian Wars of the late 1800s. The Regiment fought German forces during World War II, landing on D-Day at Utah Beach, through five European campaigns and received a Presidential Unit Citation for action during the Battle of the Bulge.

Well there was a recent case of a person trying to get a Swastika placed on a brthday cake and was denied, in fact, they called the cops and he eventually had children taken away.... and all imports to US are strictly wiped of "swastikas"

The manufacturer, based in China, explained the symbol was presented in a traditional sense and not as a reference to the Nazis, and apologized to the customers for the cross-cultural mixup.[80] In 2007, Spanish fashion chain Zara has withdrawn a handbag from its stores after a customer in Britain complained swastikas were embroidered on it. The bags were made by a supplier in India and inspired by commonly used Hindu symbols, which include the swastika.[81]

As a matter of fact I can connect the Bush family directly with Nazi Germany during WWII... but that was the closest I ever came to that issue.
