I really dont see why anyone would take a threat of legal action if the girl signed a release. Thats sort of why we have them sign them. Let me think here a second .... maybe .... just maybe .... this is the reason girls are quiting the biz ....
Girl Calls agent .... agent says to come on out to LA after seeing her photos and maybe even buys her plane ticket. Tells her to stay out for 3 weeks and she'll make a ton of money. Mandates that she stays in the model house so he can keep an eye on her (but really so he can collect rent from her). After being in LA for 3 weeks , the model gets 2 to 3 shoots , gets asked to suck her agents dick, probably gets propositioned by people on the set 5 times, ends up owing her agent 10 - 15 percent, 2 to 300 for each week in the model house, maybe paid her own airfare, testing, and after food and everything else basically just spent 3 weeks of sitting around waiting for all the work the agent said they'd have for them or promised them only to have it mysteriously disappear after getting there because of "cacellations" and ends up making absolutely nothing.
I've heard this time and time again since last summer .... the biz has too many girls and not enough work to keep them busy if they're from out of town. If you live in LA ... maybe makes a little more sense but still it's hardly good money at this point when you consider cost of living and the crap you have to put with in this industry. Escorting to them is an easy out .... maybe a more risky out .... but an easy out and at this point risk means nothing to these girls.

Im not comparing porn shoots to mainstream film but HDV and DV video production on the same level like TV commercials, reality shows, & field production.
