The last time I rented a tux it was more then that. When I returned it the pants were ripped, the vest and shirt were stained with beer and champagne and the cuff links and buttons were missing. So I have an idea why it's expensive.

how much were you expecting?

I had to rent tuxedos a couple of times (when traveling without mie and had to attend some formal party) and always paid around eur 130-150 (not in the US though)

You should have spent the money on a hooker, and told your cousin that you were broke - and that if he stills wants to exploit your tyke in a tux, for a one-off lousy wedding photo op, he'll have to pay for it himself...

It's actually the bride but yes you are right the fact that this is cutting into my hooker funds is upsetting.
