FreeOnes is looking for a part time (roughly 8hrs per week to start) front end developer to help support our lead.
Basic Requirements for the Job
- the candidate MUST be available between 10am-5pm GMT +1 (i.e. Amsterdam time) on a Tues/Wed to work with the team.
- the candidate MUST have good spoken and written english as they would be expected to participate in both voice calls and documenting work.
- the candidate MUST be dependable. We are not looking for someone who can not complete the work that is agreed upon.
Technical Job Requirements
- Good knowledge of Twig
- Writing vanilla JS, at a decent level
- Have a basic understanding of how Javascript frameworks like Vue, React or Angular work
- Wrting Scss with BEM methodology
- Someone who can work cross browser/device
Nice to Have but Not Required
- Experience with Vue
- Experience with Webpack (encore)
- Experience with Jira and Gitlab
A little about the project...
We work in sprints of 2 weeks where we groom and plan tickets in Jira. The main team meets in house 1-2x a week then works remotely the rest of the time.
We have 3 full time backend developers, 1 full time front end developer, a product tester and myself who wears many hats, one of them managing our project(s).
The team is multi national, we have people from the Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Romania and America but invoices will be paid in USD (preferably by paxum, but wire is fine if necessary).
