    Online Dating doesn't work?

    It works in terms of MAKING MONEY but what about the end user?

    According to Ken Donaldson, the author of "Marry Yourself First", Online Dating doesn't work as well as offline methods in finding "the right person"... check out his video.

                  Online Dating is good for anyone. especially the shy one's.

                  More fun to go out and actually meet someone 1-on-1 though.

                  I remember chatting to this one girl I met on a website, used to do the whole cyber thing and chat on msn and when we met it was fucking boring because we'd already got to know eachover.

                      Offline social networks (ie, friends, co-workers, etc) are the #1 way people meet their partners. The benefit of that is that when you meet someone in that way, you're likely to be culturally similar. You'll probably have compatible beliefs, somewhat similar lifestyles, the same kind of friends, etc.

                      With online dating, on the other hand, people tend to meet the kind of people they think they want. More often than not, they turn out to be wrong.
