I wouldn't worry too much right now.
Visa/MC are legally obliged to refrain from processing in connection with illegal activity. They had no choice. So long as your site doesnt have illegal content, industry will be fine. However, sites that allow user generated content (ie tubes, forums) will likely face strict regulation in the near future.
