I submit to a few ll's but do you rotate the listings around ? I only submit for the linkjuice, and if I am gonna get none then its not really worth it.

If they are long term static listings then will start throwing a few quality ones your way ;)

Let's put it this way... if I decide that I can only list 20 or so on the main page, I will build a category specific blog page that I can rotate them in and out of twice a day. That page will get pagerank quickly as well. So either way, you'll still get the benefit of pagerank from hoes.com.

I submitted tightyoungbabes.com 2 day's ago but don't see it listed yet, how long does it take to get listed usually? The blog is fairly new but has 100% handwritten unique content and is very clean. I'm adding a blog theme to it today too.

I'm approving these same day right now. It's possible that you didn't receive the email that I couldn't accept that one. I do have to be somewhat picky about what I accept. A brand new site with no pagerank and a basic wordpress theme couldn't be accepted at this time. I'm sorry!

The domain is not new, 2 years old but yea it has no PR yet, but a custom theme and some more hand written updates will be on it tomorrow, maybe that will help?

Anyway, I'm submitting a couple of my older blogs today. Good to know they get listed next day

hopefully you wont add everyone that submits a link you should be picky, most blogs are really crappy, pick the best ones and only the best.

if the blog has a blogroll that looks like a linkdump, dont list it, sites like that are crap

So the blog has to have PR and a nice theme and look all pretty and everything. Hmm .. though a https://www.domain.com/freesites/my-...ng7/index.html with 0 pr and probably looks quite ugly compared to a blog is ok.

I have ugly 0 pr blogs in top page terms for some ok kw's, don't make my blogs overly complicated and often just use an edited default theme and have no problems at all making sales and getting good traffic ... but its not good enough.

Might pass.. looks like many linklists just still miss the point. ;)

You've listed most of the ones I submitted but a few you didn't. That's cool but I didn't receive any declined email either, although I did get emails for the ones you approved. So if Nicky didn't get a declined email and I didn't it could be no one is... Just thought I'd let you know.

Wow, it's amazing how much garbage has been submitted to me over the past few days. It's also amazing how many blogs have completely pimped themselves by selling hardlinks to alot of the tubes that are tops in google at the moment. Amazing how "bought" most of the google listings are these days. What happened to good old fashioned quality sites getting ranked?

Anyway, just a reminder... if your blog is spammy, brand new, no page rank, loaded down with blogroll links that are totally irrelevant, please don't bother submitting to me. My categories are super established... nearly 10 years old in some cases. Just because I'm listing blogs doesn't mean that hoes.com is going to turn into a linkdump... what reason would I have to do that? I want to provide relevant blogs to my surfers. Stuff they will enjoy. And in turn get a little quality relevant traffic in return.

Big difference between what I'm doing for blogs and free sites. Blogs will get much more and more permanent placement than free sites. So in turn for that permanence, I expect at least a little quality. I'm not doing this as a public service to help webmasters... I'm doing this to hopefully get a little extra relevant niche traffic in return. Totally different than the free site listings. Hoes.com isn't one of those "blog directory dumps" that you see people linking to. Those sites have very little to offer. I have an established traffic base with a ton of niche traffic to every category, so a listing at hoes.com means "real" traffic to you immediately.

Im curious as to what you consider quality. Admittedly my site is new and pr 0 however its updated mostly twice a day with quality handwritten posts and is going to be a good one. It seems to me that most blogs are updated periodically. Now that its getting some traffic Im looking into getting a proper design done maybe you will consider it then based on its content rather than the fact its still new?

Incidentally we do have a trade going, I must be one of the very few thumb sites that has had a link exchange with you for about 5 years now

It's very possible that I made a mistake with your blog. Please understand that after announcing this, I've been crushed with blog submissions... 75% of them have been spam blogs. I'm trying to be careful not to accept those. They are pretty easy to spot though! Typically they have no pagerank and a scripted feel to them. Your blog may have been lumped in the middle of a bunch of bad ones and my trigger finger was happy at the time.

Go ahead and resubmit it with an note reminding me of this post so I can critique it more closely.

You are right, a well done, hand crafted blog fits in nicely with what my surfers expect from me.

Just because google hasn't assigned PR to you yet, doesn't mean it's not quality!

Usually I work daily on a blog 2-3 months before I even add 1 link to my blogroll.
