Does anyone have much success with VOD? The guys I signed up with I thought were the top of the tree. Fucking hopeless.

Hit me up man, I've been working in VoD for the last 4 years. Maybe I can offer you some advice in increase your bottom line.

Also keep in mind that those 153 signups need to go through their free trial minutes before they buy. Some sponsors don't mail those members, some spam the shit out of them. Others, like mine, market to them accordingly.

VOD is slow, but good. I have sent small trickles of traffic to VOD for years now. I don't get many sales, but the earnings stay steady month after month. If you are looking for immediate cash, VOD is not the answer. If you're looking for long term revenue from a product that does not directly compete with the paysite model, VOD is definitely something worth implementing.

I'm assuming that you are sending that traffic to a custom theater built to match that traffics interest?

I make a few grand every month with AEBN. Just looked at Stats Remote and see I've made over $350,000 over the last few years with them. So yes VOD can do very nicely.
And it's as easy as cam and dating to promote. A text link here and a banner there and then just leave it alone and let it grow over a few years.

Yes, white label branded custom job for a site getting half a million uniques a month.

Thanks Robbie, that's what I wanted to hear. I thought it would be a long slow steady burner. Just wasn't expecting it to be so slooooooow in picking up.

you will have a core following who never leave and buy small packages every month. Every once in a while theyll ding you for a big package. its all about choice. 153 is a good start.

I'd give them at least 2 months. Initially VOD is slow but it should build nicely over time.

Your figures stop at August '06. Can you post your figures for May and June 09? I looked at AEBN and didn't sign up because nowhere on their site could I see how much they actually paid out. Crazy. They might have changed that now.

Here is the total btw: $13.41

Here is what I would do for you ;- ) create a niche co'brand movie site with your look/feel/domain and link back to your site. I would DOUBLE your webmaster PAYOUT for 30 days to help you make more NOW>

it will take a couple months to build up a good amount of user's that come back to purchase more time...

another thing I suggest is to review what movies are being watched on your theater and put them on the front page...this tells you what the surfer is watching...

also review the referring logs and make sure the landing pages have niched out targeted content... this helps to target what the surfer wants based on were he came from.

the more you niche your content to what your surfer wants the more sales you make ;- )

They pay 20% on all sales. Not as high as others, but AEBN has more gay/fetish small niche videos than any other VOD.

VOD is good for recurring income. However, it does take a while to get it going. You need to send traffic for at least 6 months before you the dollars building up.

If that does not work, try some new sponsors and get the right match with your traffic:
