Don't buy traffic from sordid

It took 6 days asshole because you sent some emails requesting some changes and also we designed you some banners or are those banners on your affiliate page not what we designed?Comment
-
ok... so when it was finally sent by your standards...
why did your hits not register in my Cpanel?
you offered to to the banners with the "package" of (let me see... no traffic... alot of bullshit... something else... something that sucks worse.... etc.)Comment
-
and you know stephen that the hits not registering is not my biggest problem... i mentioned that and you said something about a script... promised me traffic every time I talked to you...
always you came short... but to go back to the root...
WHY WOULDN"T YOUR TRAFFIC REGISTER ON MY CPANEL?Comment
-
here's my stats from last month...
www.vstrippoker.com/junetraffic.doc
no sordid traffic...
If anyone really gives a fuck...
I just posted my experience...Comment
-
-
i'll check that out...
I'm not an expert on Awstats but it appears rather straight forward to me... it's either there or it is not...
btw... I did do a search in awstats for sordidtraffic.com and no hits showed...
meaning anything with www.sorditraffic.com/anythingatall would have come up...
nothing did...
I'll look at direct address/bookmarks though but can guarentee it has nothing to do with not receiving trafficComment

Incorrect, if(*) SordidT is sending (redirecting) traffic using javascript (for example), then most of that traffic would carry no referrer in the header, your script (awstats) would list those hits under "direct address/bookmarks".
(*) I have no idea how they send traffic, but since it's possible to strip the referrer using certain pieces of (js for example) code and some brokers use (have used) javascript in their redirects (to filter out bots for example), this could explain the confusion.Comment

Yes. Flash & JavaScript would mean no refer.
This was my reply in the other thread...
Sordidstats is a script that simply counts the visitors that travel through the link which then directs immediately to the target URL. This was explained to him.
Click here - http://sordidstats.com/?VFJDS0FEPTQ1 and you will see what I mean.
This is a screenshot of his stats login - http://sordidstats.com/stats.jpg
If the buyers stats are not showing the sordidstats URL, they would have shown the actual referring URL`s in question. The traffic that started to be sent on the 23rd (as per the above screenshot) is the EXACT same traffic that has been sent when it was not being run through the stats script and which the buyer confirmed he was seeing the traffic.
It is ridiculous to think that I would be sending traffic that is any different.
To repeat myself again, the type of traffic being sent when the campaign started (when you complained of not seeing them) is the identical type of traffic that you confirmed you was seeing in the stats (when not being run through the script).
I cannot get the raw logs because to use the server techs terms - "There is no way to pull logs from 30 days ago if it is rotated or deleted."Comment

i don't buy that...
also... you didn't read my thread... the traffic not being sent happened last month which made me question the traffic...
since it has been "tomorrow" ever since... that is my biggest problem... waiting and waiting and nothing...Comment

i did... it was...
www.vstrippoker.com/refer.php... the only traffic that would register to that page was his...
i did get 3k hits after I asked... many, many times for my money back because the traffic was not being sent
just to clarify those hits... he told me to check my stats and see if i saw 3 urls... i did...
I posted them prior... that then stopped after I saw the hits and again no traffic...
Also... those sites were infected with trojans and tube sites... if you know what that means...Last edited by mmcfadden; 07-17-2009, 12:54 PM.Comment

I sent that page up to track "free" signups...
Here is a copy of that page... "3, 4, and 5" are the sites of the three urls that he gave me a good amount of time after I paid him and back and forth on emails/icq's. That is page 34 of 35...

Read these emails... icqs if you want...
www.vstrippoker.com/sordidheadache.doc
www.vstrippoker.com/sordidproposal.doc
I don't have exact results for those pages except the php file confirming the free signups. Maybe he knows how to track it... i'll ask him... but also the dates are kinda important here.
And if stephen sent traffic it would have been already after I told him enough is enough and for likely the 3rd or 4th time that I wanted my money back.
But even so... I need the url's to track the results... not just some clicks from who knows where..
I am reporting my experience.Comment

Those are your no-referrer hits:
bookmarkers
direct type-ins
...
and possibly traffic that was redirected to your site using certain javascripts (or flash...)
so might want to compare that amount/percentage of traffic with the amount of no-referrer traffic you got in previous months...

Looking at your alexa for vstrippoker.com it does seem like since the start of june you bounce rate is 2.5 times higher than normal which means that you are receiving larger quantities of low quality traffic than usual.
Especially at the start of July you had a small spike in your reach rank as well.
It appears like something was delivered.
Here is my advice for anyone buying traffic.
Setup a script that will track the following:
-Referring URL (or lack of that)
-Country
-Proxies
-Daily stats
-Option to track "sales"
Buying traffic based on referring domain is asking for problems.
P.S. neither of you will post facts so you are both wrong and the refund should be sent to me
