You can do this till your fingers are bloody and the guy still wont care. Scammers don't care about their reputation. The only way is to try to take him to court, but he won't show and you still wont see your money, only to spend even more money and you just end up back were you started.

You will never see that money.

I can verify the irritation. I did some graphic and css work for the guy about a year and a half back. Payments started off good, then as things went on he started with excuse after excuse. Payments drug on and on. Eventually we worked out a deal where he would host my stuff for me on one of his servers. I left Hosthead to setup on one of his servers, which wound up being a complete fuckingnightmare and prompted a quick move to phatservers. At one point I was working with him to setup an affiliate program and affiliate rss feeds, I was going to jump on as his affiliate manager for a percentage of the affiliate sales. Wound up continuing to be a headache. Eventually I had to just cut him loose and deal with my losses. Which in the end weren't too heavy. He usually got around to paying me for my work, though on most occasions it took a long time to get. In the end I think I ws out a couple of hundred bucks, but it was worth it to just cut him free and not have to deal with the headaches anymore.
