    Microsoft Clarity

    Has anyone had a chance to try Microsoft Clarity yet?

    Looks like it's Microsoft's entrance into the analytics field.

    I tested it out on one of my sites this morning. So far it is literally screen recording every session.

    So far all I can say is wow. What an incredible tool. Tech has come a long away. I'm literally watching screen caps of my visitors finding their preferred video to bust to.

      I've used a similar screen recording feature with Matamo before and it's incredibly useful and just plain cool. I'll check out Clarity later today. Thanks for the tip.

          Same here. Been with Matamo since they were called Piwik and happy with the result.

                      I haven't used Matomo before so this is my first experience with a tool like this.

                      So far I've been able to find quite a lot of issues that I don't think I would have noticed or cared about had I not been able to see it from a real users perspective. Pretty cool tool so far to have after a few days of using it.

                      I wonder how long it will remain free. I imagine those screen recordings eat up a lot of storage. I see a one drive fee in the future. Might be worth it!

                          Statcounter just added this feature. The free trial seems telling so far. It's a little boring to watch someone browse around for 30 minutes though.

                          That being said, I can see the value.
