It's pretty sad isn't it... One day both Russia and China might get their ass in gear and join the new world instead of hanging around using nerv gas on innocent people. And they call it "successful?".

We recently had some guys from the former Soviet area having a meet here in Denmark. Now Russian don't wanna talk to any danish official from the goverment cause they feel we hide terrorists in our country. Denmark might not be big but we stand side by side with the american soldiers and we've lost soldiers in the war of terror too. Now the russians claims we hide them so they can keep up their terror network. They are beyond pathetic.

But I like their vodka... they seems to drink it A LOT in the duma!

heh actually the russians weren't so wrong about the meeting...the vice prime minister of chechnya has been arrested in denmark today supected of terrorism....

Yea well only problem might be that the russians sent a piece of paper saying "HE'S A FREAKING TERRORIST" and then they act on that... but what the hell... they're all from that area... book'em all. I don't mind

It is pretty embarrassing to see, a once great empire like Russia, in the state it is in today. I have a feeling that not much will change in the coming decade.

Throughout history, people usually waited in line for bread in Empires, since they were monarchic systems and only the ones in power got to eat well. The nations power was hardly measured with the populations well being. (i.e. please read the Roman and Ottoman empires as examples) It's pretty cool how you shoot down your own comebacks. Fact is, everybody in the USA felt the power and danger that was the USSR just a few decades ago, that alone is enough to suggest they were a significant enough power isn't it?

China thinks the gas was a good way to handle the situation. They have BALLS, if the US had that problem all the fucking pussies would debate and debate and likely cut the terrorists a check.
BTW 100 died out of 800, so who cares? they got the job done fast.
A raid without the gas would likely leave as many dead in the end.

While I wouldn't want to live in Russia or China, I admire the way they handle problems. Something is wrong and they fix it. Results instantly. Maybe we are too soft?

Don't forget, it the was the arabs who took the hostages in the first place.
Russia is being blamed for their methods in handling the situation but that situation started with Arabs taking innocent people hostage.
