    Issues with Performive(ex NationalNet).

Along time ago, I was hooked up with National Net for my servers. I was with them for a while. They turned into Total Server Solutions. Shortly after that, they are now Performive. I had to upgrade to a cloud base, which they say is very good, because my current servers were at the end of their upgrade-able life. So I did that on August 17th. I made the switch because I needed to update the PHP on the old servers but they couldn't. The new cloud base servers need a license. They have yet to get the license and I don't hear anything back from the sales person once I inquired about it on the 5th of September. Does anyone else have any negative experiences with this. Nat Net had great CS. It seems I am not getting that anymore once the switch was made and I updated to a new cloud base. So Im still paying the same amount. have my sites still on the old servers, but waiting on licenses for the new cloud base. Am I nuts to think this is not the proper way to do business, or am I missing something with regards to obtaining the license?

This is not the way itis supposed to be.

Talk to Brad who owns Mojohost.com or Ryan who owns Vacares.com.

Both these gentlemen are excellent and will most definitely answer your messages and take very good care of your hosting needs. No referral codes needed, they really are THAT good!

This was the response on the 5th from their tech support.

"Once the cPanel license is activated, we can migrate the contents of your server to the new server, and upgrade the WordPress versions to make the websites compatible to them.

We have moved the ticket #404016 to our Account Managers to get the License activated, and they will get back to you with further updates after reviewing."

It takes a few min for a Cpanel lic to activate someone is just not doing their job.

No reason it should take more then 24 hours.

Maybe they don’t normally support Cpanel and it’s extra backend work to do .

They didn't turn into TSS, TSS bought NatNet and then rebranded as Performive. I have limited experience with them but generally speaking there is little reason to rebrand after many years with a name if your company has a good reputation

Why would I need Cpanel, if I asked that the serves are totally maintained by them and I just ask them to do all maintenance? Next thing is why sell me a product that they don't like to support. NAT net was awesome and never once had a bad experience. This to me is ridiculous, but i signed a new 2 year contract for the servers. Ill see if I can't get out of it or what not if this keeps up.

Cpanel is a waste of $$$ I agree I was assuming you asked for Cpanel.

If you did not ask for it ask them for directadmin control panel or one of the other cheaper alternatives.

No reason to pay for Cpanel unless you really want it.

Have you tried virtualmin? It's absolutely the best panel I've ever used. We install it on servers when clients have unmanaged and want us to do dependancy installation. It's 10x better then cpanel and free.

I own a bunch of lifetime directadmin lic’s use that on all servers.

I was using it before when i simply switched to do everything over console, tho i still have webmin installed just for some boring tasks. Agree how it's better then WHM/Cpanel and directadmin.

K0nr4d you are correct! But to answer the second part of your statement. TSS rebranded to Performive as the culmination of numerous acquisitions over the past 4-5 years, bringing several large, and some smaller companies into our fold, and rather than continue to operate all sites and entities, independently, we decided to synonym them all under a new umbrella, which is now known as Performive
