Lol, you can't be serious, its the most un-realistic reality show, its all scripted re enactment. The stories are however based on past incidents that they've had. If they truly just followed them, the show would be boring.

Did you even read the beginning of the youtube clip you posted? "The stories portrayed are based on real events" Translation - This show is just a re enactment of past repo events.

That opening line is not "legal contract bs", its a statement made when a show is not real actual footage, but rather a re enactment based on actual events. Yes its 100% fake, and the acting isn't hard when you do the same thing in real life. Did you really think that when their vehicle was being shot at by guys running after them that the cameraman would just stand there and get it all as the guys holding guns ran past him? Seriously, I know you don't want to admit you got fooled, I'm sure you're not usually this naive.

This show sucks and is the worst attempt at reality TV to date... If anyone actually thinks that show is for real they need some help. I personally think most reality TV is insulting and has no real place in our society other than to help speed along the dumbing down of our country and help people LOSE touch with reality.

My advice... Step away from the computer and widescreen TV with 1000 channels... They are nothing more than passive enslavement of the mind.

If you fast forward to about the 5:00 mark he confronts a guy with the bat. He say the guy shoved him and he fell down and he was lucky because the guy was trying to hit him with the bat but he fell out of the way. It looks worse that WWE wrestling. He gives him a little shoved and the guy falls. He is on the ground then the guy hits his truck with the bat. pretty lame.

that show reminds me of rescue 911 , all completely staged and made to look worse/better than it was. I remember on rescue 911 they would always have a semi-hot blonde as the "wife" in every scenario , but it would sometimes cut back to the real people involved and they looked nothing like the actors

I say it's fake... I worked repo for a couple weeks when I was in college - money was shit, hours were shittier. We got paid for what we picked up.

Real repo is all about avoiding confrontation - we'd go in from 1 am - 5 am and boost cars from the carports, or more often, parked on the front lawn. I did get a gun pulled on me once, and literally pissed my pants. I let him keep the car that time... then I went to his work and took it out of the lot the next day.

But in the 15 repos I did in two weeks, I only had that one confrontation. We'd case, wait, then avoid the confrontation.

But who am I to say what's fact.... it could be real - but one thing is for sure. It looks real dumb!
