                            Dude South Beach is kinda unique unto its own......St. Pete Beach is as similar as you will find.....but its not nearly anywhere close.....just to let you know the scientologists has their HQ in that area......and like people have said Tampa has its + and its -.....So I would recommend if your determined on either one stay just a few months in both.....then decide.....you are also looking at currently "out of season" factors as well. it factors more into Snowbird places mainly but its like day and night when "in season" begins.....

                                    depending on location, one place could be 5min away or 45min away.... example NJ to philadelphia is 10mins if you live in South Jersey off Rt 1, but its 2hrs away if you live in Hackensack NJ....

                                    Google maps has deceived me a lot.. my problem right now is just trying to figure out shit.. so im prolly gonna live in both and then decide..

                                            Miami = great place to visit
                                            Tampa = great place to live

                                            Also....for the record....Tampa's best night spots haven't even been mentioned yet. There are place that are FAR better than Ybor city. Channelside, Hyde Park....etc way better and way more chicks that you can actually talk to.

                                                www.decoplagecondominium.com or www.roneypalacecondo.com

                                                be prepared that if you live on that side of south beach (beach side as opposed to bay side) it will be crazy. There's always tons of ppl around and is party central..Clubs restaurants, bars, hookers ;)

                                                If you want a fun place to live on bay side.. check out the www.flamingosouthbeach.com

                                                The pool scene on Sunday at the flamingo is second to none.. Place is probably 1/2 Hot girls but be prepared for a college type atmosphere
                                                If you live in south beach u hardly use your car, u can drive a scooter or bike everywhere..

                                                Also, tampa and south beach are very different..like night and day.. Night spots...yes. You're looking for Gulf Blvd. As far as the negotiation goes....just ask someone. It never hurts.
