my thoughts on my iphone gs

This is my first iphone as a phone it's fair to weak. My nokia blew it away on reception. As a internet device I love it. I wish apple would allow flash,it sucks to go to site thats all flash and you cant look at it. The battery life is fair but what can you expect your carrying a mini computer around. But all in all Im happy with the purchase so far.

I have to chime in on the Nokia comment. Reception is top notch on their devices.

I had E51 and it had wifi also. In house I have one bar on the iphone and I had full bar on the nokia.I could walk my dogs in my condo parking lot,I walk with them like its a track. I would listen to internet radio on wifi on the nokia. I tried it on the iphone it didnt carry the signal to down the stairs. lol

I spent 10 beautiful years with Sprint. Recently switched over to AT&T so I could get an iPhone and...well...I miss my Sprint. The iPhone is a magnificent piece of technology but AT&T sucks donkey balls when it comes to their reception. Oh well, I'll live

iPhone definitely has its pros and cons, but IMO pros out weight cons by far

web browsing and apps are great. there is a sweet FTP app for the iPhone that you can do almost anything that you can from your computer. I can access my home computer remotely and transfer files and from the phone.

only downside I think is still the battery life still, but really cant complain that it lasts a WHOLE day now.

Also, one other thing I dont like about the 3GS is it wont charge on any of the 3G docks, even one that I JUST bought from Apple after I bought the 3GS. They dont know what the problem is, but sucks that i wasted $80 on docks that wont charge the phone.
