fuck i dont know what to do. i know if i had a full time programmer at my disposal i could blow the site up beyond anyone's wildest dreams. the site hit 400,000 uniques yeserday, and i know i could get it up to a million uniques a day if i tube'd it up a bit.
obviously i don't want to sell my baby... 10 years old this october. i still have people telling me that it was the first site they saw on the web and that it made them want to do sites etc... its going to be a hard decision.
right now i have over 40 ppl making offers. i never in my wildest dreams though so many people would be interested.Comment

i don't NEED to sell, i just think maybe i SHOULD sell because the guy that has been my right hand man wants to join a legit tech company, and i just really can't see myself doing it without him. he's also my best friend and it just wouldn't feel right. so i think it's time to see what offers are out there.

Your argument is moot, every example you used is a TGP/MGP which isn't even the same GENRE of adult site as Stile Project.
You see... Stile has a following, everyone knows of Stile Project, and what it's about, he can probably say "buy this site membership or I'll kill you" and instantly send hundreds of signups to that one site... Can a TGP do that?

stile, what happened in october to give the site such a traffic boost? looks like it was down to about 15k alexa, then all of a sudden up to top 5k. then another jump in january to top 2k. the difference between 15k in alexa and 2k is probably about 300k uniques a day. from experience stuff like this just doesn't happen with an established site so i'm wondering how you explain the jumps? might help prospective buyers who're wondering. good luck with the sale..Last edited by sexyfunny; 06-30-2009, 09:36 PM.Comment
